Every year on July 1st, My family will go visit my dads grave. This year was really hard for me. It was the day before my wedding. I sure wish my dad could have been there physically. But i know he was there in my heart. I was so glad that Lacey got to come with me and my family to the grave site.. Not only did we see my dads, but i got the opportunity to see her sister whitneys grave. Crazy how i could feel the spirit there together.
Every year when we go, We always get red balloons. We write a message to our dad on the balloon and then let it go up to Heaven where my dad can read these special notes.
Rykert and Lilly love the ideas of Balloons going to PAW. they get so excited to write little drawings and let the balloon go. The little drawings they do have so much meaning and love to it. Its amazing that they know whats going on at that young of age.. They know Paw is in Heaven with Jesus. You ask them where Paw is and they always say.... PAW is dead with Jesus.
